Abstract
Emergency department (ED) overcrowding is a global healthcare crisis associated with increased mortality, prolonged wait times, and reduced quality of care. Real-time prediction of overcrowding could enable proactive resource allocation and patient flow management, but existing prediction tools have limited accuracy and generalizability.
