Abstract
Accurate dental implant placement is critical for long-term prosthetic success and prevention of complications. Conventional freehand placement relies on surgeon experience and visual estimation, while computer-assisted navigation systems have been shown to improve accuracy. Artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted navigation represents the next generation of guided implant surgery, but its comparative accuracy against freehand technique has not been evaluated in a randomized controlled trial.
